This class is designed to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for female shooters looking to improve their familiarity with handguns in defensive scenarios. This course will help female shooters with fundamentals in marksmanship as well as knowing the status of their firearm and how to ensure it is in proper working order.
Topics Include:
- Safe handling of a handgun
- Fundamentals of marksmanship: including grip/hand placement, proper shooting stance, aiming and proper sight picture, and trigger manipulation
- Firearm presentation/drawing from a holster
- Methods of engagement
- Alternate aiming points
- Engaging with speed and precision
- Tactical/Administrative reloads
- Communication in a defensive shooting scenario
- Speed/Emergency reloads
- Identifying and clearing malfunctions/stoppages

- 200 Rounds of ammunition
