Home Defense Fundamentals: (Scenario Based)

This is a scenario-based course where students will be introduced to the most realistic training there is to offer. The purpose of this training is to immerse students in situations that will test their firearms employment and decision making skills through scenarios that prepare them for real world encounters, both mentally and physically.
Topics Include:
- Safety & weapons handling
- Threat indicators/anomalies/ pre-assaultive indicators
- Threat recognition
- Avoidance
- Problem solving
- Decision making (shoot/don’t shoot)
- Close quarters fight
- Use of cover
- Low light/no light considerations
- Home defense
- Post incident considerations
- Legal considerations.
- Medical (bleeding control)
Required Equipment:
- Long sleeve shirt/jacket
- 2 layers of loose clothing
- Pants
- Closed toe shoes/boots
- Gloves
Optional Equipment:
- Groin Protector
Prerequisite:
- Completion of Home Defense Fundamentals
